In football (soccer) the Laws of the Game are the rules by which soccer is player. In contrast with other sports, the Laws of the Game are universal worldwide and across professional, collegiate, and youth soccer (with limited exceptions at lower age groups).
The Laws of the Game are defined by The International Football Association Board (IFAB).
