Tournament teams

Coaches are encouraged to take teams to AYSO tournaments. Each tournament has its own rules and application forms to fill out. Here’s who on the board to ask for help:

Most tournaments will require:
  1. Apply for the tournament through the tournament webpage.
  2. A roster signed by RC. Reach out to the tournament coordinator (ben@ayso13.org) to get a roster, which you would upload to the link in the page below. The RC or a delegate would sign and return to you. 
  3. If the tournament requires a Region check, please request it from the treasurer as well. Make sure you collect the fee from the team and send a check to the Region to offset the Region check. If the tournament does not require a Region check, please take care of the payment directly as it is faster and keeps you from losing your spot waiting for a check from the Region.

A player must have been properly registered, and played in, the preceding Fall Core soccer league to participate in an AYSO tournament. Spring League doesn’t count.

To begin:

  1. Decide which tournament(s) your team would like to attend.
  2. Download and fully fill out the tournament application (answer all questions, sign, etc.).
  3. Fill out the form below to obtain Regional approval to attend the tournament. In this form, you can request a tournament check, referee deposit, and submit the tournament application for RC signature.
 

   4. For all other documents needing the RC’s signature, upload them here.

 

Teams will need to be approved by Region 13. Tournament teams represent our Region and coaches, players, and spectators are expected to display exemplary AYSO behavior, including good sportsmanship, positive coaching, and treating other AYSO members with respect.
