Thanksgiving Tournament 2025

 

Tournament Invitation:

Our tournament is back and being held on the three days immediately after Thanksgiving:

  • Friday. November 28
  • Saturday, November 29
  • Sunday, November 30

The tournament is open to all interested teams in the 10U, 12U, and 14U divisions. Every team is guaranteed three games with additional games for playoffs. Registration and team management is being handled online this year:

Please review the schedule at this link (also above) for Sunday’s games. The standings you previously look at via inLeague are no longer accurate. Final standings will be posted after Sunday’s games complete.

  • Use the link above to access the game schedule in the Tournament Portal. Select “Region 13 Thanksgiving Tournament” under “Competition” and then select a division to display. If you click on the team designation at the top, you will see only that team’s game schedule.
  • We also have the schedule in PDF form, although it is more difficult to use: Team List, Game Schedule, and Referee Schedule (Updated Nov 27, 10:45am)
    • Use the Team List to identify your division and team number, e.g., G10U Team #6. Then match that to the Game Schedule.
  • Note that only “pool” games on Friday and Saturday morning are currently assigned. After that point, we will re-seed teams into “brackets” for the Saturday afternoon semi-final and Sunday final games. So, mid-day Saturday, the Tournament Portal schedule will be updated.
  • Note that the G14U Division is an odd size (7), and so the schedule is a bit complex. We will communicate that to our G14U teams.

NOTE: You will need your AYSO ID in order to register a team for the tournament!

We expect to accept teams through November 14th. Note that each team is required to bring a three-person referee team to assist in refereeing matches. Registration, roster submission, referee team submission, and payment are all handled through the registration website. Payments can also be submitted via Region check.

The Thanksgiving Tournament will take place in Pasadena, primarily at the Rose Bowl (Area H), with additional fields possibly used. More information, including field locations and maps, will be provided as we near the Tournament dates.
