Grad Series is a “mini-season” in January and February for players who have just finished up the 8U season and plan on playing in 10U next fall. The jump from 8U to 10U is a significant one so Grad Series helps to make the transition smoother for both players and volunteers. Grad Series adds a goalkeeper, the off-side rule, and larger goals and fields. Grad Series is not mandatory for those playing 10U next year, but it will better prepare them for the new rules and changes they will encounter in the fall season. Just like the fall season, volunteer coaches and referees are needed to help run a successful Grad Series. It is a great opportunity for volunteers to also receive training and mentoring in preparation for the 10U season. Practices will be twice a week, one night with their team and one night with Launch soccer. Games will be on Saturdays in January and February. The cost for Grad Series season is $95 – a very low price for one of the region’s best programs. We run out of space in this program every season so register now, before we run out of space! First priority is given to players with coaches and/or referee volunteers attached to them so please consider volunteering.
Winter Stars is an informal soccer program for players who enjoyed the fall season so much that they want to keep playing soccer through the winter with their friends. Winter Stars meets once a week at the Muir North field from 3:30 until sunset. Volunteer coaches divide the players into balanced teams so that players can explore the game in scrimmage play and learn from each other. Click here to learn more and register.
