All Region 13 Referees: It's that time of year again, -- Time to brush off that referee gear and crack those law books! But first, please plan to attend the Annual Referee Kickoff Dinner - to be held Wednesday, September 8th at the Pasadena Senior Center (http://www.pasadenaseniorcenter.org/) Address: 85 E. U8 Official to Regional Referee Upgrade Course (11:00 am to 6:00 pm) Saturday, September 04, 2010 - REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR COURSE ROSTER 201002506 through http://www.eayso.org/. To take this course; you must already be certified as a U8 Official in EAYSO. If you sign up for this course, and completion of U8 Official training cannot be confirmed through EAYSO, you will be dropped from roster. Please know you will not be notified of being removed from roster as it is your responsibility to provide course completion documentation through EAYSO. Possession of U8 Official badge (patch) is not sufficient. This course is specifically designed for those referees currently certified as a U8 Official who wish to upgrade to Regional Referee and will Referee or Assistant Referee games at the U10 level or higher. Course material covers fundamentals not discussed in U8 Official Course and is offered as the second segment of the more comprehensive Regional Referee Course and does not include Safe Haven for Referees as this requirement was fulfilled during U8 Official training.
